Arizona football injury report: Matt Morin and Tony Ellison out for Wildcats vs. BYU

Arizona is probably as healthy as it'll ever be

The first injury report of the Arizona Wildcats' season has been released and it's a short one.

Probable: None

Questionable: None

Doubtful: None

Out: Matt Morin (foot), Tony Ellison (knee)

As you can see, only two players — wide receiver Tony Ellison and tight end Matt Morin — were listed on the report and both are out for Saturday's season opener against the BYU Cougars.

The Wildcats have a deep wide receiver corps so not having Ellison isn't going to hurt them. Morin's absence, on the other hand, could be problematic.

Morin is the team's holder on field goals and extra points, and even though they have others that are able to do it, it's not really a position you have to have instability at. Quarterback Zach Werlinger is listed as the backup holder on the depth chart, so expect him to be the one to fill in for Morin.

Aside from that, the Wildcats are probably as healthy as they'll ever be and in great shape to take on BYU.

Kickoff at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
