Sonoran Hot Reads: Arizona ranks 44th on Blue Blood Programs ranking

Tied with Boston College and West Virginia

ESPN set out to come up with a list of the "Blue Blood" programs in college football, asking 12 of their writers to rank every college football program 1-10 based on their impact on the game. Eight teams earned the distinction, but they put out the entire rankings that they got. The Arizona Wildcats finished with an average score of 4.75, putting them in a tie for 44th with recent bowl opponent Boston College and Rich Rodriguez’ former school West Virginia. Only Washington State (T47) and Oregon State (57) scored lower among Pac-12 schools
