Texas Longhorns send Arizona football handwritten condolence letters
This is an extremely awesome thing Texas did
The Arizona Wildcats and Texas Longhorns don’t really have any ties to each other, especially in football. The two teams have only played each other once, and that was a 20-0 Longhorn victory all the way back in 1925.
But on Wednesday, Arizona was the recipient of an extremely classy gesture by Texas.
Absolutely 1st class move by @Longhorn_FB & @Strong_TexasFB for sending their thoughts and prayers! #Forever65 http://pic.twitter.com/aMOttZV2a7

In the immediate aftermath of Zach Hemmila’s death, plenty of condolences and thoughts poured in from throughout the college football world on social media, but Charlie Strong and his Texas team took things to a whole new level with these handwritten letters.
Maybe some Arizona fans will have a second-favorite team this year.
