2016 MLB Draft results: Arizona signee JoJo Romero drafted in 4th round by Phillies

Will he wind up on campus?

The first Arizona Wildcats signee to be drafted in this year's MLB Draft is Yavapai Community College LHP JoJo Romero. He was taken 107th overall by the Philadelphia Phillies.

Romero played for Jay Johnson at Nevada in 2015, pitching in 22 games as a freshman. he ended up with a 2.47 ERA in 37 innings for the Wolf Pack.

He then moved to Yavapai College before signing with Arizona in November.

"JoJo will be one of the top Junior College pitchers in the country in 2016," Johnson said when Romero signed. "We look forward to him being a fixture in the pitching rotation here at Arizona."

We'll see if that actually comes to fruition.
