Arizona baseball: Wildcats' odds to win College World Series

Not exactly a betting favorite to win the CWS

Heading into the year, not a lot of people were picking the Arizona Wildcats to succeed on the diamond, so why would things change now?

As Super Regionals creep closer, Arizona has been put at 30/1 odds to win this year's College World Series. Only three teams have worse odds.

Here's a look at the entire list, courtesy of Bovada:

Louisville 4/1

Miami Florida 9/2

Florida 5/1

Texas A&M 11/2

Mississippi State 8/1

LSU 11/1

Texas Tech 12/1

South Carolina 15/1

TCU 15/1

Oklahoma State 22/1

Coastal Carolina 25/1

Florida State 25/1

Arizona 30/1

Boston College 50/1

East Carolina 50/1

UC Santa Barbara 100/1

The Wildcats are also +200 (2/1) to win this weekend's Starkville Super Regional.

This weekend will be the ultimate test for the Arizona pitching staff. After having to work through five games last weekend, the Wildcats roll into Starkville to face a Bulldogs team with the 15th-best batting average in the country (.312). In addition to that, MSU pitching has thrown nine shutouts this year, fourth-most in the country.

It won't be easy, but you can make some easy money if you put some down on your favorite team.
