Arizona football recruiting: 4-star running back Nathan Tilford verbally commits to Wildcats
Another big time commitment for the 2017 recruiting class
The Arizona Wildcats now have their sixth member of the 2017 recruiting class, landing a verbal commitment from Nathan Tilford, 4-star running back. Tilford is ranked as the No.10 running back in the nation, and the No. 141 overall recruit.
Been watching Tilford since he was in 8th grade, multi-position player who could end up at RB, WR, LB or safety, very nice pickup for #UA

The 6-foot-2, 190 pound running back will be the third offensive commit for the class, and the third running back to join the 2017 class once Jessie Britt and Russell Halimon arrive on campus next spring.
He hails from Upland, California, holding offers to Notre Dame, Michigan, Tennessee, USC, among other football powerhouses. His junior year highlights are below.
This is a commitment that I wasn't expecting for Arizona at all, especially with the two running backs that will already grey shirt in the fall of 2017, with the potential commitment of Chris Brooks seeming more than likely.
This is yet another prospect that the coaching staff stole away from the Los Angeles area, in a bigger effort to pull off one of the best recruiting classes in Arizona. Adding a premier running back such as Tilford will continue to turn the heads of other big time recruits in the area.
He was on campus a few weeks ago during that huge rush of unofficial visits.
