Sonoran Hot Reads: Arizona NFL Draft hopefuls visit various teams
Will Parks seems likely to get drafted at this point
It's NFL Draft season, and several former Arizona Wildcats are travelling around the country, meeting with various teams as they look to either get drafted, or get a training camp invite as an undrafted free agent. One guy who looks like he's moving up draft boards for teams is William Parks. The defensive back has taken several visits already, and he tweeted out that he'll be meeting with the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers this week
- Lene Maiava was in Denver to visit with the Broncos on Monday. The offensive lineman also worked out for the Chargers last week. This is all after benching 225 pounds 34 times at Arizona's Pro Day while recovering from a knee injury
- We had this a few days ago, but just a reminder that some teams are concerned about Cayleb Jones' activities off the field
- USA Today thinks that Scooby Wright III will be a "late-round steal"
- Four-star DE and current UCLA commit Hunter Echols has Arizona in his top ten. Here are some of his highlights
Basketball
- Josh Jackson announced he was going to Kansas instead of Arizona or Michigan State. Jayhawk fans seem happy
- Mark Tollefsen had one of the greatest dunks in recent memory
Baseball
- Nathan Bannister was named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week. Naturally, he took the top spot in this week's "Three Up" too. The Wildcats play ASU on Tuesday night
Other sports
- Sand volleyball is still 7th in the AVCA rankings after another undefeated weekend
- Women's tennis lost to UCLA on Sunday, falling to 1-7 in conference play
