Sonoran Hot Reads: Terrance Ferguson impresses at Nike Hoop Summit
A record-setting performance by the Arizona target
With all eyes focused on Josh Jackson in Saturday's Nike Hoop Summit, another Arizona recruit took the spot light away, at least for one day. Terrance Ferguson lit it up in the first half, shooting 6-of-9 from beyond the arc, and then broke the game's all-time record by draining a 7th trey after halftime. This performance once again shows that Ferguson is an important get for next year's Arizona team

- In a game where just about everything went wrong, the Wildcats lost to WSU 6-2
- 2017 outfielder Donta Williams explained to me that the facilities and coaching staff led him to commit to Arizona over his hometown UNLV as well as Nevada

- The Cats completed a series sweep by taking a doubleheader from Houston by a combined score of 18-6. We have the recap of the entire series

- The two fastest 400-meter hurdle times in the country this year are now owned by Arizona athletes. There's also a new school record in the 100-meter hurdles
- 12 Wildcats were named indoor All-Academic honorees
- Women's golf dropped to 5th at ASU in round two
