Sonoran Hot Reads: New Arizona Academic Center receives large contributions
A new building is coming to the Arizona campus, and coming soon
As Arizona looks to keep pace in the college athletics world, a new academic center will soon be standing across the street from McKale Center. After a $2.5 million donation from the Braccia family, and a $1 million donation from the Lapan family were announced on Wednesday, the $7.5 million C.A.T.S Academic Center is now ready for construction to begin. In fact, the ground-breaking ceremony is slated to take place at 4 PM on Friday. It should be a big boost for the academics side of Arizona Athletics.
