Sonoran Hot Reads: Sean Miller must trust Allonzo Trier more

Time to let the freshman do his thing

As the Arizona Wildcats wrapped up non-conference play, Allonzo Trier started coming into his own. Now the Wildcats prepare to open Pac-12 play on Sunday, and Matt Norlander makes the case that Sean Miller needs to trust Trier more for the rest of the year:

"Arizona coach Sean Miller should resolve to trust his freshman point guard, Allonzo Trier, even more. The Pac-12 is wide open, and if Trier takes the next step, the Wildcats will win the league in a rare season when they weren't supposed to."

Point guard? Eh. But I do agree that Trier will be the reason that Arizona wins the conference

- Also at CBS, they think the Pac-12 is stronger than anyone expected. That could be proven by Stanford taking down Utah to start the conference season. The same Stanford that SI called the conference's flop of the year, and that we all voted last in this week's Pac-12 Power Rankings
