Sonoran Hot Reads: Andre Iguodala named finalist for USA Olympic team

Will we see Iggy in Rio?

USA Basketball announced the 30 finalists to represent the country at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, and there is one Arizona Wildcats alum on the list. Andre Iguodala will get a shot at making the Coach K-led USA squad. Looking at some of the names that are on this list of 30, I don't like Iggy's chances of making the final 12-man roster, but it's still cool that he's at least getting a look.

- In other Warriors news, they dominated Cleveland on Monday, but the highlight came before the game, as Steve Kerr was in the building and drained a half-court shot underhanded:

- Oregon State's Jarmal Reid has been suspended at least four games for tripping an official on Sunday. This means he'll miss the Arizona trip next weekend

Jeff Goodman talks about the potential of Josh Jackson coming to Arizona. Also, ESPN says that they'll take USC to win the conference over Arizona right now

Football

- Daniel Jeremiah put out his top 50 draft prospects, and there is no sign of Scooby Wright III

- Former Arizona commit Devon Modster officially committed to UCLA. Jake Burton also flipped from Arizona to UCLA

- In addition to the many things that went down in Tucson this weekend, the Arizona coaching staff is offering plenty of players, including Cincinnati commit K'Von Wallace and former Stanford commit Chacho Ulloa

- Arizona target Lorenzo Burns visited Cal, and our buddies at California Golden Blogs broke down his current recruitment status

- The Wildcats are also in the running for a highly-sought after recruit at this time. We'll have more on him later on Tuesday

- After a couple of new additions to the coaching staff, the reaction from everywhere has been ridiculous positive
