Sonoran Hot Reads: Pac-12 V.P. of Officiating explains Anu Solomon call

Not targeting, but should have been a penalty

Besides winning the game against Utah, the biggest topic among Arizona Wildcats fans after that game was the hit that took Anu Solomon out of the game in the fourth quarter. Well, the Pac-12's VP of Officiating has spoken, and he says that the hit was not targeting, but should have been a penalty for unnecessary roughness. He also explains a couple of missed calls in the Cal and WSU games. I don't know that having this guy out here explaining missed penalties is the best look for the conference, but good on them for at least being open with it
