Sonoran Hot Reads: Sean Miller takes shots at UCLA

Feisty Sean Miller is the best Sean Miller

The UCLA Bruins have had a bit of trouble getting out of the gate on the court this year, as well as trying to get numbers at the gate, and Sean Miller has noticed. In his postgame press conference after the Bradley win, Miller took a couple of jabs at UCLA fans, wondering where they were. I think we can all agree that this is Miller at his best

- ESPN is kind of split on their predictions, but some do think that Josh Jackson and Andrew Jones will end up at Arizona

- Kaleb Tarczewski was added to the Wooden Award watch list

- The second Pac-12 China Game will be Harvard/Stanford, so maybe a spelling bee will break out too. Or a science fair

Football

- The game-winning catch against Utah got the Sports Science treatment from ESPN, and it's predictably awesome

- Stanford still has a little bit of hope to get into the College Football Playoff...maybe

- Arizona will have a little extra incentive to score TDs on Saturday

- Todd Graham calls the rivalry the "most passionate" he's been a part of. So there you go, Arizona/ASU is more passionate than Rice/Houston

- The baseball team is going to have a Fall World Series starting Thursday, and held a draft Tuesday night

- Soccer's Sheaffer Skadsen and Jaden DeGracie were named first team Pac-12 all-academic, while Lexe Selman was named to the second team. The team will get a second game with Santa Clara on Thursday in the NCAA Tournament

- Women's basketball hosts Howard on Wednesday

Women's golf signed Sandra Nordaas to their 2016 recruiting class. Volleyball signed three players, all of them middle blockers

- There will be a large swim meet on campus this weekend

- The NCAA is looking for ways to help improve athlete's performance in the classroom. All of this while making so much money
