Sonoran Hot Reads: First College Football Playoff rankings released

The Pac-12 is...uh...alright

While the state of Arizona doesn't really have anything at stake with the College Football Playoff this year outside of which two teams will end up in Glendale, the rest of the Pac-12 still does, and the first rankings were not good for the conference. UCLA is 23rd, and is somehow ahead of two undefeated teams in Houston and Toledo (the Rockets did lose Tuesday night to NIU). Ted Miller explains what's happening here, and it's not because Pat Haden had to leave the committee, and Condoleezza Rice isn't allowed to make cases for Stanford
