Arizona football recruiting: Chandler five-star WR N'Keal Harry commits to ASU

Another top in-state talent not coming to Tucson

The Arizona Wildcats have always had trouble getting the top Arizona high school talent to come to Tucson, and 2016 will be no exception, as five-star WR N'Keal Harry from Chandler HS announced he will go to Arizona State next year.  Arizona was among the star receiver's final ten schools.

But they found out on Sunday that Harry had left them out of his top five heading into Monday.

Harry officially visited Texas A&M on October 16th according to 247Sports. He was also at the ASU/Oregon game last Thursday taking in the Sun Devil Stadium experience.

We talked last week about how the Wildcats had an outside shot at landing Harry, due to a couple of factors. But when you're looking to make the most out of your football career, Tucson is not the place to go, and that's just the reality of the situation right now.

This regular season, Harry had 44 catches for 784 yards, and had seven receiving touchdowns for Chandler. They enter the playoffs as the top-ranked team in Division 1, and will host Boulder Creek on Friday in their first round game.

Arizona also took another recruiting blow on Sunday, as their top defensive commit, Josh Allen, announced he is opening up his recruitment. Overall, not the best of weekends for the Wildcats coaching staff.
