Washington State vs. Arizona: Wildcats host Cougars for Homecoming
An early start means an early parade means early tailgating. The game kicks off at 1 PM PT on Pac-12 Networks
That 1 PM kickoff worked out pretty well for the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday, leaving Rich Rodriguez wanting more of them.
"Can we get all 1 o'clock kickoffs," coach joked to Greg Byrne after the game. "We like that."
Someone at the Pac-12 offices who likes Arizona got wind of this, and gave the Wildcats a 1 PM home kickoff vs. Washington State. That's homecoming, so everyone who's back in town will have plenty of time to party after the game. If you're not in Tucson, the game will be on Pac-12 Networks, snapping the Fox Sports 1 streak at two weeks.
Just announced by the @pac12: Homecoming game on Oct. 24 vs. Washington State will kick off at 1 p.m. & will be televised by @Pac12Networks.
