Arizona vs. Colorado: Three keys to a Wildcats victory

A film legend brings us three keys this week

For this week's three keys to an Arizona Wildcats win, we turn to Robert Redford, who once attended Colorado, but did not graduate.

Here are three films that the legend acted in to tell us why Arizona will come out of this game 5-2:

1. A River Runs Through It

It is no secret that in recent years, the Buffs have had major trouble stopping the Arizona run game, and I would expect that to be the case again this week, even though Nick Wilson is listed as questionable on this week's injury report. Last week, after a reshuffling of the offensive line, the Wildcats had three major contributors in the running game, and really, Jonathan Haden found some yardage as well. I would expect Jared Baker and Orlando Bradford to get a majority of the carries and yards, and with Freddie Tagaloa at guard and Layth Friekh at tackle, Arizona should run as wild as Ralphie would if his handlers let him go.

2. The Hot Rock

With the potential of a lot of guys running the ball, Arizona has a lot of guys ready to catch the ball as well, as the receiving corps is finally healthy. If Anu Solomon can get the ball around the field to at least six different guys, I think the Wildcats will be in great shape. If everyone's contributing in the passing game, there should be lots of points put up.

3. The Company You Keep

Arizona's corners have a tough assignment this week with Nelson Spruce. It's critical to stay in his back pocket, and to have safeties over the top to provide some insurance should Spruce get away from Jarvis McCall or Cam Denson, whoever draws that assignment. If the secondary shuts down Colorado's best receiver, the Buffs will be in trouble.
