Arizona football injury report: Wildcats decimated with injuries heading into Oregon State game

Are there people that aren't hurt?

We knew the Arizona Wildcats injury situation was bad, but this bad? Nope.

Here's a look at the latest official injury report, and it's not good:

Probable: Tyrell Johnson (foot)

Questionable: Anu Solomon (concussion), Jerrard Randall (hamstring), DaVonte' Neal (hamstring), Jeff Worthy (concussion)

Doubtful: None

Out: Derrick Turituri (hip), Scooby Wright III (foot), Trey Griffey (foot), Haden Gregory (knee)

Let's start from the top. Johnson has been out all year with this foot injury, and looks like he will get his first game action of 2015. Johnny Jackson has done a nice job taking over for Johnson, so it'll be interesting to see if Arizona stays with Jackson over him given all the success he's had so far.

Anu Solomon is listed as questionable, but multiple outlets are reporting that he'll start Saturday after he passed a concussion test Thursday morning. Which makes Randall's injury a little less concerning, but it also means no Randall at wide receiver this week either.

Jeff Worthy was part of the weekly press conference on Monday, and I can't imagine that the Wildcats would have put him out there if he had already suffered a concussion before then. DaVonte' Neal's hamstring injury means more pressure on Cam Denson, Jarvis McCall and Sammy Morrison to play better and more than they have to this point. That could be an issue given how poorly Arizona's corners have played so far in 2015.

Turituri has gone from questionable last week to out this week, so he's having trouble recovering from this injury. He's essentially been hurt all year, but was able to play though it until last week when he didn't even make the trip to Palo Alto. The other three names that are out are not surprising, and since Haden Gregory and Scooby Wright are both out, that means Sir Thomas Jackson will start at MLB.

Arizona's injury situation is dire right now, and there are a lot of important playmakers on this list this week. Let's hope that Solomon's return along with another guy at wide receiver being available will help the offense enough to get past Oregon State on Saturday.
