Arizona football injury report: Nick Wilson still questionable for the Wildcats

The Wildcats need him back

Another week, and another questionable for Arizona Wildcats sophomore running back Nick Wilson. It's a new injury though, after he got the start last week against Washington State.

Here's a look at the full report:

Probable: Tellas Jones (concussion)

Questionable: Nick Wilson (knee), Parker Zellers (knee)

Doubtful: Tyrell Johnson (hamstring)

Out: Derrick Turituri (hip), Scooby Wright III (foot)

Rich Rodriguez said on Monday that he think Tellas Jones will be back this week. His presence would have been more necessary last week, but it will be nice to have the safety who has been playing best back this week.

With a cold, rainy game in the forecast, Arizona needs as many ground threats available as possible, and not having Tyrell Johnson will hurt maybe more than people think. Also, if Nick Wilson's new knee injury (his previous injury was listed as foot) keeps him out, I would expect a combo of Jerrard Randall and Jared Baker trying to lead the Wildcats to scores on the ground.

I believe the goal from the second these injuries were sustained that Wright and Turituri return next week against USC. Nothing has happened to set that back, but it also would have been nice to see them listed as doubtful or something this week.

The biggest positive on here? DaVonte' Neal is no longer listed as injured. Hopefully he can stay healthy the rest of the year to give the corners a jumpstart.
