UCLA vs. Arizona: Three Keys to a Wildcats' victory over the Bruins
It's time to unleash some Tropic Thunder
There are a couple of schools that will make my theme for the Arizona Wildcats three keys to a win very simple this year, and UCLA is certainly one of them.
Here's a list of notable alumni actors from UCLA. My choice for three keys is Ben Stiller, who has plenty of acting credits to his name.
I'm not messing around this week, so let's get straight to how Arizona will take down UCLA on ABC Saturday night.
1. Next of Kin
There's a chance Arizona will be missing three of its most explosive players as Scooby Wright III, Cayleb Jones, and Samajie Grant are all listed as questionable on this week's injury report. Their backups (Tre Tyler, David Richards and Nate Phillips respectively) will need to be near what they were last week against NAU and make some big plays if the Wildcats stand a chance in this game.
2. Fresh Horses
Arizona's defensive line rotation will be crucial to the overall success that the defense enjoys or not. Josh Rosen certainly performs worse with the pocket collapsing in on him, and if the Wildcats can stop the run game and Paul Perkins in a similar fashion to the way they shut down Nevada and NAU, good things are going to happen everywhere else. It all starts up front, and whether or not they'll be effective against UCLA's offensive line.
3. The Pick of Destiny
I think I can say with certainty that if Arizona does not generate a turnover, it will not win this game. This feels like a game that William Parks will take over in the secondary, and get a big interception sometime in this contest. The secondary will need to come up with at least an interception, and Anu Solomon will have to keep up his no-pick ways with the rest of the country watching to get that first win against UCLA in four years.
