UCLA dealing with its own injury issues in 2015

UCLA will be missing three key defenders this Saturday and for a lot longer than that

On Wednesday, it was announced that UCLA's stand out linebacker, Myles Jack, suffered a significant knee injury during practice on Tuesday, which will sideline him for the rest of the season.

Back in 2014, he was a non-factor for Arizona, rushing just six times for 13 yards and racking up a tackle.

But in 2013, as a true freshman, he shredded the 'Cats in Tucson. He had eight carries for 120 yards and a touchdown from 66 yards out to seal the game for UCLA. He also came up with eight tackles (one for loss) and two pass break ups that night.

Myles had totaled 15 tackles, and snagged an interception through three games this season, but didn't play much offense. Now, UCLA will have sophomore linebacker Kenny Young step in, who has 11 total tackles on the season. Isaako Savaiinaea, junior linebacker and leading tackler for the Bruins, will help solidify the Bruin linebackers.

But this isn't the only major defensive contributor who will miss Saturday's tilt in Tucson. UCLA also lost their star defensive tackle, Eddie Vanderdoes, who tore his ACL in the season opener vs Virginia. And, they'll be without their starting corner Fabian Moreau, who will also miss the rest of the year. Coincidentally, standout corner Ishamael Adams was reinstated yesterday as well.
