Scooby Wright injury updates: Arizona linebacker suffers left knee injury
This could be extremely important
The Arizona Wildcats can not afford injuries, especially to Scooby Wright III, but it appears that star linebacker will be done in the season opener after one quarter.
On a long UTSA drive midway through the first quarter, Wright did not play on the last several plays of the 17-play series before a missed field goal.
On the next UTSA drive, he started the drive, but pulled himself out.
After pulling himself out, he went to the training table, where he proceeded to untape his hands and arms, pull his jersey up, and have an ice pack taped to his left knee.
We will keep you updated as soon as we know more. Freddie Tagaloa and Cam Denson have also left this game due to injury.
