Brandon Ashley signs multi-year, partially guaranteed contract with Dallas Mavericks
A possible shot at making an NBA roster
From going undrafted, to landing a spot on the summer league team for the Atlanta Hawks in Las Vegas, Brandon Ashley will now head to Dallas. Reports are saying that he has signed a multi-year, partially guaranteed contract with the Dallas Mavericks.
Although his deal has some guaranteed money, it's no guarantee that he will make the team. According to ESPN's Marc Stein, he is all part of a plan to secure the best unsigned talent from around the league.

In seven games with the Hawks, Ashley averaged 10.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists. It seems likely that he'll find himself heading to the Texas Legends, Dallas' D-League affiliate, to spend some time there.
