Arizona Basketball Recruiting: Wildcats offer 4-star center Ike Anigbogu

Sean Miller starting to search for big men after missing out in 2015.

Just last week, Arizona sent out an offer to 2016 4-star center Ike Anigbogu. He's an interesting prospect in terms of size, as he's a bit short at 6-9, but holds his weight at 230lbs. With a commitment from TJ Leaf at power forward, it would force Sean Miller to go small at center and plug Anigbogu in.

He currently holds offers to Arizona State, New Mexico, UCLA and Vanderbilt. He's ranked 18th among all centers and 129th among all recruits.

This is a bit of an interesting offer here simply because Sean Miller hasn't exactly reached for recruits that are ranked less than 60th overall. But being the recruiting mastermind that he is, there's definitely something noteworthy about Anigbogu that Miller really likes. There is also plenty of time in the recruiting process, which will allow Anigbogu to raise his stock as well.

Anigbogu is a serious threat in the paint both offensively and defensively. He'll sit down low on offense and patiently wait to make his move. On defense, he hovers around the paint to come up with the swat and is extremely disciplined to stay straight up to defend against the drive.

HIs junior year highlights are below.
