The Arizona Wildcats will open the 2020 season with a rare daytime kickoff.

The Pac-12 announced Sunday that they will host the No. 20 USC Trojans at 1:30 p.m. MST on Saturday. The game will be broadcast on FOX. Fans will not be allowed to attend, per conference rules.

It’s the third daytime kickoff in as many seasons at Arizona Stadium, the last coming last November when the Wildcats were routed by the Oregon State Beavers.

USC has won seven straight against Arizona dating back to 2013 and enters as a two-score favorite, according to the oddsmakers at Vegas Insider.

USC is coming off a 28-27 comeback home victory vs. ASU in which it scored 13 points in the final three minutes of the fourth quarter.

Trojans star quarterback Kedon Slovis, an Arizona native, threw for 381 yards and two touchdowns.

Arizona’s season opener at Utah was cancelled after several Utes tested positive for COVID-19.
