Arizona commit Kyion Grayes offered by Ohio State

The Arizona Wildcats have their work cut out for them if they are going to keep Kyion Grayes II committed. The Chandler High wideout received an offer from Ohio State on Tuesday, according to his Twitter page.

The Buckeyes’ offer add to a pretty impressive list of suitors that already included Miami, Arizona State and Michigan State.

Grayes, one of two players committed to Arizona for 2022, is the No. 521 player and No. 68 wide receiver in his class. He’s also the No. 6 player in Arizona.

The 6-foot-1 pass-catcher committed to the Wildcats on Aug. 11.

“Lean, narrow build with projectable length and room to add mass to frame,” reads his 247Sports scouting report. “Well-rounded pass-catcher with a knack for getting open. Fluid route runner who sets up defenders to generate space. Instinctive and creative in possession. Shows great body control after the catch. Good burst off the line of scrimmage. Very good hands and coordinated catcher who can reel in the ball away from his body. Technician on underneath plays and can weave his way through traffic. Could continue to add speed and physicality to his game. Potential multi-year starter at Power Five level and upside to garner looks from NFL Draft scouts down the road.”

Here are Grayes’ most recent highlights, from a game vs. Gilbert’s Perry High School:
