It’s anybody’s guess when the Arizona Wildcats will land their first commitment for the 2021 recruiting class. When it happens, though, two prospects who recently kept the UA in consideration after cutting their list of suitors could eventually be that first commit.
In the past two days Arizona has seen itself included in the top five for 3-star California defensive end Nick Dimitris and 3-star Texas defensive end Terrell Tilmon.

The 6-foot-4, 235-pound Dimitris, from Baldwin Park, Calif., is the No. 589 player in the 2021 class according to 247Sports, who has him ranked 38th among weak-side defensive ends and 54th-best in California. He had previously included the UA in his top 7 released on March 31 but since then has dropped Auburn, LSU and Virginia Tech and added Maryland.
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Tilmon was offered by Arizona on March 28 and that recent contact enabled the Wildcats to make his list. The Arlington, Texas native, who also does track and field, is ranked No. 590 overall, No. 39 among weak-side DEs and No. 74 in the Lone Star State.
