The Arizona Wildcats are one of seven finalists for San Francisco grad transfer Charles Minlend, according to Jeff Goodman of Stadium.
The 6-foot-4 wing averaged 14.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per game this season, while shooting 42 percent from the field and 30 percent from 3. Minlend was an All-WCC Second Team selection for the second consecutive season, helping lead the Dons to a 22-12 season.
The Concord, North Carolina native is also considering Butler, BYU, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Indiana and Gonzaga. Per Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers, Minlend had a virtual visit with Arizona on Wednesday.

Butler, Arizona, BYU, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Indiana, and Gonzaga.
One of Minlend’s best games this season came against Gonzaga, when he scored 22 points on 9-of-18 shooting. If he were to pick Arizona, he would be a candidate to start at the 3.
“He’s a scorer, a high volume guy who needs to work on being more consistent with his shot,” one scout told Stadium. “When he’s willing to facilitate, he adds a dimension to his game.”
