The Arizona Wildcats will begin spring practice on Monday with a vacancy on their coaching staff.
Defensive backs coach Demetrice Martin has been hired to the same position at Colorado under new head coach Karl Dorrell, according to Brian Howell of BuffZone.com.

Martin was hired by Arizona prior to the 2018 season after seven seasons at UCLA. He has a ton of Pac-12 experience, having been an assistant at Washington for three seasons (2008-10) and a graduate assistant at USC (2006-07) before joining the Bruins’ staff.
Martin is best known for his recruiting acumen. With him going elsewhere, it means Arizona will have a totally new defensive coaching staff in 2020.
Earlier in the offseason, the Wildcats hired a new coordinator (Paul Rhoads), new defensive line coach (Andy Buh) and new outside linebackers coach (Stan Eggen).
