Arizona still receiving votes in AP poll despite being swept by USC and UCLA
Despite being swept in Los Angeles, the Arizona Wildcats are still receiving votes in the AP poll.
They received nine votes in Monday’s poll, the ninth-most among unranked teams, meaning they are the No. 34 team in the country.
It is the first time all season the Wildcats have failed to crack the Top 25 in two straight weeks.
Oregon is the only Pac-12 school in the Top 25, checking in at No. 13. UCLA (54), Colorado (13), Stanford (4), Arizona State (4), and USC (2) are receiving votes in addition to Arizona.
As far as other rankings go, the Wildcats rank 17th in KenPom and 10th in NET. BracketMatrix.com, which compiles NCAA Tournament projections from a bunch of outlets, says the Wildcats average out to a 6.71 seed.
Arizona (19-10, 9-7) is currently in a four-way tie in the loss column for fourth place in the Pac-12 with Stanford, USC and Colorado.
