Brandon Ashley is returning to Arizona.
The former Arizona Wildcats forward was acquired by the G League’s Northern Arizona Suns —the Phoenix Suns’ G League affiliate—on Monday, coming over from the Stockton Kings.
The NAZ Suns play in Prescott Valley.
Ashley, 25, spent the 2018-19 season with APOEL Nicosia in Cyprus where he averaged 11.8 points and 6.9 rebounds per game while shooting 54 percent from the field and 41 percent from 3.
The San Francisco native played for the Sacramento Kings in NBA Summer League this July. He has played for Germany’s Alba Berlin and the G League’s Texas Legends since going undrafted after forgoing his senior season at Arizona.

Andre Iguodala and the Grizzlies have agreed to have him stay away from the team during training camp as it looks for a suitable trade, according to Chris Herrington of the Daily Memphian.
Iguodala, 35, was traded to Memphis in July after helping the Golden State Warriors make their fifth straight NBA Finals appearance.
The 2019-20 season could be Iguodala’s last in the NBA, so it makes sense why he would not want to spend it with a rebuilding Grizzlies team. Memphis would obviously prefer to trade him and get something in return instead of buying him out and letting him hit the open market.
Iguodala is in the final year of a four-year, $48 million deal, and can still help a contender with his all-around game.
