The FBI investigation into college basketball is over, but new developments are still emerging.

Wednesday, Pete Thamel and Dan Wetzel of Yahoo! Sports reported that there are transcripts of wiretapped conversations of former Arizona Wildcats assistant Book Richardson telling undercover agents that he paid $40,000 to a “high school coach” to help ensure Rawle Alkins would be eligible at the UA.

Also included in the transcripts, per Yahoo!, is Richardson telling undercover agents that he was paying Alkins’ cousin, who moved to Tucson, $2,000 per month.

In June, Richardson was sentenced to three months in prison after pleading guilty to receiving $20,000 in bribes in exchange for helping steer current Arizona players toward particular agents.

Arizona basketball confirmed in May that it is under NCAA investigation.

Stan Wilcox, the NCAA executive vice president for regulatory affairs, recently told The Athletic that not all the information gathered by the FBI will be given to the NCAA to use in its investigation of college basketball programs, but the Yahoo! report says “NCAA investigators are aware of the alleged $40,000 payment Richardson discussed.”
