Brandon Randolph not invited to NBA Scouting Combine

Will work out for Utah Jazz on Wednesday

The NBA has invited 66 players to its annual scouting combine in Chicago later this month, and not surprisingly the list does not include Arizona guard Brandon Randolph.

Below is the full list, according to Jonathan Givony of DraftExpress:

Randolph was one of 175 college players who declared for the 2019 NBA Draft, a massive number made so big by an NCAA rule change that allows basketball athletes to test out the draft process—and hire an agent—but still retain their eligibility if they opt to withdraw their names by May 29.

The 6-foot-6 Randolph was considered a long shot at best to earn a combine invite after a hot-and-cold sophomore year at Arizona, where he averaged a team-best 12.4 points per game but shot just 38.4 percent overall and 29.5 percent from three-point range.

But that doesn’t mean NBA teams haven’t expressed interest in him. On the same day his name wasn’t included on the combine list, Randolph is scheduled to work out for the Utah Jazz:
