Charleston Southern grad transfer Christian Keeling hearing from Arizona

The Arizona Wildcats were a poor 3-point shooting team this season, so adding a sharpshooter or two should be a priority this spring.

One option is Charleston Southern graduate transfer Christian Keeling, who has heard from the Wildcats, according to this tweet from @TeamPowerHoops, which was retweeted by Keeling.

A 6-foot-4 wing, Keeling averaged 18.7 points per game and a nice 6.9 rebounds this season, with a shooting line of .465/.380/.778. He also led CSU in assists (2.8 per game).

Charleston Southern has the 48th-best defensive rating in the country this season — allowing 96.1 points per 100 possessions — and that number improved to 94.6 when Keeling was on the floor, the best mark on the team, suggesting he is a formidable defender.

Counting-stats wise, he averaged 1.3 steals and 0.7 blocks per game this season. Keeling, who played the 2 and the 3 at CSU, has one year of eligibility left and can play immediately at his new school.
