3-star CB Khary Crump commits to Arizona prior to spring game
As a few thousand Arizona Wildcats fans filed into Arizona Stadium on Saturday afternoon to get a glimpse at the team’s present, a potential piece of its future was making a life-changing decision.
Khary Crump, a 3-star cornerback from Culver City, Calif., committed to Arizona while in town for the Wildcats’ spring game. His tweet confirming the pledge was sent out from the east side of the stadium:
I am blessed and COMMITTED to University of Arizona 2020 #Beardown @premiumsportsla @GregBiggins @RyanWrightRNG @Scott_Schrader @JasonScheer pic.twitter.com/VaHR7N5bpD

The 5-foot-10.5 Crump is rated by 247Sports as the No. 1,499 player in the 2020 recruiting class as well as the 125th-best cornerback and the No. 180 prospect from talent-rich California. Arizona was the first team to offer him last summer, according to 247Sports’ Greg Biggins, and he also had offers from Oregon and Utah State.
Crump’s commitment doubles the size of Arizona’s 2020 class. He joins 3-star quarterback Will Plummer, who committed in January.
