Hear what UA volleyball players and coaches had to say about the team’s state

The Arizona volleyball team resumed practice Tuesday after a disappointing homestand in which they were swept by the Washington schools.

The Wildcats have another challenging week ahead as they are set to travel to Los Angeles to take on No. 20 UCLA and No. 15 USC on Friday and Sunday, respectively.

No. 23 Arizona is 14-4 this season, including a 3-3 mark in the Pac-12.

We caught up with assistant coach Charita Stubbs to get her thoughts on what’s ahead and the losses to UW and WSU (head coach Dave Rubio had other obligations):

We also talked to outside hitter Elizabeth Shelton, who practiced Tuesday for the first time since suffering a concussion that has kept her out for almost a month.

Elizabeth Shelton returned to practice today after dealing with a concussion. It would be a big boost for Arizona Volleyball if she plays against USC and UCLA this weekend
