4-star C Drew Timme sets decision date, Arizona in the mix

Wildcats seem like a long shot here

Arizona Wildcats target Drew Timme will make his college decision early in the morning on Wednesday, Nov. 14, according to his high school’s Twitter account.

Aside from Arizona, the 6-foot-10 center is considering Alabama, Gonzaga, Illinois and Texas A&M. Timme is the No. 41 player in the 2019 class, per 247Sports composite rankings.

Timme has already officially visited Texas A&M, Gonzaga, and Alabama, but is scheduled to visit Arizona and Illinois in the near future, per 247Sports.

Texas A&M is trending as the favorite for the Richardson, Texas native, accounting for five of the nine Crystal Ball predictions.

Arizona does not have any going its way, so it would be a major shock if Timme were to pick the UA.

The Wildcats currently have three 2019 commits, including three-star center Christian Koloko, though Koloko is not considered as polished as Timme, so Timme could provide more immediate help to the frontcourt.

StockRisers’ Jake Weingarten reported that Timme had an in-home visit with the Arizona coaching staff in September.
