Arizona makes the cut for 4-star wing Terry Armstrong

The Michigan native goes to school in Scottsdale

The summer is over and 2019 recruits are starting to narrow their list of potential destinations.

The Arizona Wildcats have made the cut for a couple four-star prospects the last two days, and now they are in the mix for another one in Terry Armstrong.

The UA is one of 10 finalists for the swingman, who listed Michigan State, Mississippi State, LSU, Oklahoma, Florida State, Xavier, Oregon, ASU, and New Mexico as his other preferred options.

The 6-foot-6 wing is from Flint, Michigan but currently attends Bella Vista Prep in Scottsdale, Arizona, making him a local target for the Wildcats. He is ranked as the No. 55 player in his class, per 247Sports composite rankings.

Armstrong picked up an offer from Arizona in mid May, then visited the UA later in the month.

“Armstrong is a versatile scoring guard, who uses his long, wiry frame to dominate the competition on both ends,” it says on his USA Today profile.

Below are extensive highlights of his junior season at Bella Vista Prep. These stats say he averaged 24.3 points per game.
