4-star PF Jaelyn Withers considering September visit to Arizona

The Arizona Wildcats are still looking for their first commitment of the 2019 recruiting class but they’ve started to narrow in on a handful of targets. A few of those have recently included Arizona in their various top choices.

Jaelyn Withers isn’t close to cutting down his list of suitors, but the 4-star power forward from North Carolina does know which schools he wants to visit. And Arizona made that cut, with a possible September campus tour.

“Everything about them is great,” Withers told Rivals.com’s Dan McDonald. “I like the way coach (Sean) Miller coaches. He has his system, but it spreads the ball around. It’s not like it stays in one person’s hands.”

The 6-foot-8, 215-pound Withers is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 88 player in the 2019 class as well as the 22nd-best power forward and fifth-bet prospect from North Carolina.

Withers told Rivals that Arizona and Texas are the two schools he’s most interested in visiting in the fall but he’s also considering Boston College, Clemson, Florida, Louisville, North Carolina State and Virginia.
