The Rancho Cucamonga native is the No. 865 player in the 2019 class and No. 65 safety, per 247Sports composite rankings. He would have ranked as UA’s third-best commit.
That Perry chose Colorado is no surprise since he took an official visit to Boulder in late June. While there, he cut his list to four schools.
Arizona’s 2019 class is ranked 72nd in the country and ninth in the Pac-12. The Wildcats have seven commits:
- 4-star QB Grant Gunnell
- 3-star LB Kwabena Watson
- 3-star DT Kane Bradford
- 3-star RB Michael Wiley
- 3-star OT Jordan Morgan
- 3-star LB Derrion Clark
- Punter Kyle Ostendorp
