2018 center Lukas Kisunas to officially visit Arizona

The Lithuanian was committed to play for UConn before Kevin Ollie got fired

Three-star big man Lukas Kisunas will officially visit the Arizona Wildcats on April 19-20, Brewster Academy (NH) head coach Jason Smith told 247Sports.

A 6-foot-8, 235-pound center, Kisunas is the No. 191 player in the 2018 class and No. 13 center, per 247Sports composite rankings.

ESPN ranks him as a 4-star prospect.

The Lithuanian originally signed to play for UConn, but was released from his National Letter of Intent after Kevin Ollie was fired.

Kisunas also has offers from Illinois, Creighton, Old Dominion, Pittsburgh, and Purdue.

Even after landing four-star guard Devonaire Doutrive, Arizona has up to six scholarship slots to fill, and it has a dire need in the frontcourt where it is only set to return Chase Jeter, Ira Lee, and Emmanuel Akot.

Recruting analyst Josh Gershon wrote in August that Kisunas “is a big body post who doesn’t mind physical play inside, has soft hands and touch, projecting as a productive low post scorer in college.”

Kisunas played for Lithuania in the FIBA U18 European Championships where he averaged 8.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.

Here are his highlights:
