Arizona offers 2018 wing Tevian Jones, per report

Jones is a 4-star prospect from Culver City, California

The Arizona Wildcats have offered 2018 wing Tevian Jones, according to a report from Evan Daniels of 247Sports.

Daniels reports Arizona coach Sean Miller and a pair of assistants watched Jones on Wednesday night.

A four-star recruit, Jones is the No. 118 player in the country, No. 29 small forward, and No. 10 prospect out of California.

The 6-foot-6, 200-pound wings attends Culver City High School in Culver City, California. Jones is averaging 20.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.8 steals per game in his season season, per MaxPreps. Jones is shooting 40 percent from 3 and 87 percent from the charity stripe.

He also holds offers from Illinois, Connecticut, Mississippi State and Xavier, per Daniels.

Arizona offered four-star shooting guard Devonaire Doutrive on Wednesday, too. You can read more about him here.

Miller said Monday on his radio show that he would like to add three more recruits to Arizona’s 2018 class, which currently consists of just Brandon Williams and Shareef O’Neal.

Arizona is set to graduate four seniors and could lose Deandre Ayton, Allonzo Trier, and Rawle Alkins to the NBA, so it has plenty of spots it needs to fill this offseason.
