Nick Foles leads Eagles to the Super Bowl

The ex-Wildcat dominated the Vikings, and will face Rob Gronkowski, Marquis Flowers, and the rest of the Patriots in Super Bowl 52

One legendary quarterback will be playing in the Super Bowl this year. So will Tom Brady.

Nick Foles completed 26 of 33 passes for 352 yards and three touchdowns Sunday as the Eagles routed the Vikings 38-7 in the NFC Championship Game in Philadelphia.

“He literally could not have played any better,” FOX announcer Joe Buck said of the former Arizona Wildcat as clock struck triple zeros.

The Eagles will face Brady and the Patriots on Feb. 4 in Minneapolis. New England has a pair of former Arizona Wildcats in Rob Gronkowski and Marquis Flowers.

Should Foles lead the Eagles to victory, he would become the first quarterback to win a Super Bowl title in Philadelphia, which would undoubtedly cement him as a legend in that city.

The crazy thing is he will return to being a backup when the 2018 season begins.

Foles is currently starting in place of second-year quarterback Carson Wentz who was an MVP candidate before he suffered a torn ACL on Dec. 10.

Foles has filled in as well as one could ask, posting a quarterback rating above 100 in each of the two Eagles’ playoff wins.

He threw for 246 yards against the Falcons in the Divisional Round.

Here are a few of the many dimes Foles threw against the Vikings:

Bring on Brady.
