Arizona football injury report: DeAndre’ Miller likely to debut vs. Colorado

Looks like the Wildcats are getting their top pass rusher back

The Arizona Wildcats will likely be getting their top pass rusher back against the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday in Boulder.

Redshirt senior linebacker/defensive end DeAndre’ Miller is listed as probable on this week’s injury report, which can be seen in its entirety below:

Probable: LB/DE DeAndre’ Miller (foot), TE Jamie Nunley (shoulder)

Questionable: None

Doubtful: None

Out: WR Cam Denson (foot, season-ending), DB Isaiah Hayes (shoulder, season-ending)

Miller will likely split time with freshman Kylan Wilborn at the ‘stud’ position. Miller has yet to play this season because of a foot injury he suffered in the offseason which required surgery.

While Arizona’s young defense has been promising this season, its pass rush could benefit from adding Miller into the mix, as UA has tallied just six sacks through four games.

Miller had three sacks in nine games last year.

There isn’t much else to note on this week’s injury report. Rich Rodriguez confirmed Monday that safety Isaiah Hayes had shoulder surgery and would miss the entire season.

Later in the week, Rodriguez said Denson plans to medically retire.

Kickoff vs. Colorado on Saturday is set for 5 p.m. MST and the game will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks.
