Sonoran Hot Reads: Dillon Brooks suffers leg injury vs. Cal
A potentially large development in Eugene
All three of the top teams in the Pac-12 won on Thursday night, and even though the Oregon Ducks had the largest margin of victory out of the trio, they may have suffered the biggest loss. Dillon Brooks did not play in the second half after sustaining a “lower leg injury”, which happens to be the same side that he suffered a broken foot before the season, which kept him out of the early going, and was the main reason for Oregon’s slow start. Dana Altman said “he’s fine”, but Brooks’ status moving forward is still in question
- How’d the other two do? Well, they both had less-than-stellar second halves. UCLA beat ASU 102-80, and Arizona held off USC 73-66. Arizona’s also going to have to deal with this guy on Saturday:
