Sonoran Hot Reads: Arizona baseball reveals new uniforms

Some bigger letters

As the spring semester begins at The University of Arizona on Wednesday, that also means the spring sports get ramped up. Softball held their first practice on Monday, and baseball begins on Wednesday. Before the Cats take the field though, they announced that there will be some new threads on their backs this year. The lettering appears a little larger, but everything else is largely the same. Because why mess with a good thing?

Basketball

- Baylor’s time as the No. 1 team in the country will last one week after getting throttled by West Virginia. Gonzaga is now the lone undefeated team remaining

- Harry Froling was choosing between Marquette and Oregon State, and he is not coming to the Pac-12

- Keanu Pinder is in an interesting place right now, but the team is trying to put him in a better situation

Football

- Since the season is now officially over, USA Today put out their ranking of every FBS team, and Arizona is 104th. Third-best 3-9 team though behind Michigan State and Iowa State

- Plenty of recruits will be visiting Arizona in the coming days. Early enrollees not named Braxton Burmeister have arrived on campus as well
