Report: Braxton Burmeister to decide between Arizona and Oregon by Monday
The highly ranked quarterback will still enroll early
For months now, the Arizona Wildcats have been banking on four-star quarterback Braxton Burmeister enrolling at The University of Arizona for the spring semester, setting him up to be Rich Rodriguez’s quarterback of the future.
But a late offer from the Oregon Ducks and Willie Taggart has led to Burmeister reconsidering his options. 247’s Justin Hopkins reports that the young quarterback from La Jolla will decide between Arizona and Oregon by Monday.
For anyone interested, Arizona QB @Braxton1B commit told me (Sat.) he will decide between Oregon and Zona by tomorrow. Will enroll early.

Burmeister also told OregonLive’s Andrew Nemec “I'm going to enroll early at either place. Enrolling at either sometime next week."
Former Arizona commit and current Oregon commit Darrian McNeal also seems to be making a public play for Burmeister to do the same thing he did and flip to the Ducks.
Just waiting on that Qb to make that call.. Ring, ring, ring, its a thing.

If Burmeister were to come to Arizona, it seems likely that he would be the team’s starting quarterback by 2018 at the latest.
He’s not the only Arizona commit weighing late offers. There are plenty of other players that have some hard choices to make as National Signing Day quickly approaches.
Either way, this will end quickly, since Arizona’s spring semester begins Wednesday.
