Arizona football recruiting: Upcoming official visits for Wildcat commits
A big list of visitors for Arizona this weekend
The recruiting dead period is officially over which means that the Arizona Wildcats coaching staff can finally have face-to-face contact with recruits, and have them visit campus as well. In-home visits are expected to happen throughout the following weeks, with the weekends saved for official visitors.
Here’s a look at some of the visitors for January 13-15.
Josh Brown
Given the lack of depth at linebacker, if Brown can adjust to the Arizona speed, I would expect him to contribute immediately.

Warren Jackson
The 6-foot-5 receiver will be on campus.

Kurtis Brown
Kurtis Brown is recovering nicely from a torn meniscus he suffered late in the season. He’ll make his way to Tucson for his official visit.

Tony Wallace
The two-star Arizona commit has since picked up offers from USC and Oregon. While he has teammates Tony Fields and Edgar Burrola coming to Arizona, I don’t think that is enough to keep Wallace at Arizona. He’ll be visiting Tucson this weekend followed by USC and then likely an Oregon visit after that.

Kylan Wilborn
Wilborn played a heavy running back and linebacker role for Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks, CA) this season and had quite the productive season. He’ll be in Tucson this weekend.

Travell Harris
Arizona is in play for a two-star speedster out of Florida. This was a development that started moving fast after the decommitment of Darrian McNeal. It’s clear that Rich Rodriguez wants speed in the slot with this recruiting class, which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. There are other areas that need to be addressed.
I think Arizona is in great position to land Harris, with Washington State and Toledo being his other high choices. This is one where I could make my Crystal Ball prediction in favor of Arizona but he’s keeping his recruitment process open for the moment.

Colin Schooler
The three-star linebacker committed without ever seeing campus, and was planning to visit campus unofficially in hopes of receiving an offer. Since then he’s picked up the offer and committed to Arizona, now making his trip an official visit.

Anthony Pandy
Pandy is a three-star prospect out of Narbonne High School (Harbor City, CA), the same school as sophomore wide receiver Devaughn Cooper, will be on campus this weekend. While I think Oregon is in a much better position, Arizona still has a fair shot at Pandy.

Jaylon Redd
An Oregon commit, not to mention four-star corner, will also make his way to campus. He will also be visiting Cal despite their head coaching vacancy. Cal also just landed high-end three-star corner Elijah Hicks.
This is a guy that Donté Williams put a decent amount of work in and while I don’t think there’s a shot they flip him, Arizona is at least becoming an attractive spot for highly-touted guys to visit, even without Williams. Now it’s all about securing them and keeping them up to National Signing Day, which we have learned over the last two years is not easy.

Scott Young
Don’t let Arizona’s 500-plus rushing yard performance without attempting a single pass in the second half against Arizona State hide the fact that Scott Young is one of the most versatile guys in Arizona’s class.
Rhedi Short
One of Arizona’s big time safety commits will be on campus. Short has explored other options throughout his senior year and was someone to worry about after the coaching changes, but he appears to be firm.
I'll be in Arizona this weekend for my official visit.

Xavier Bell
A rangy safety out of powerhouse Mater Dei, Xavier Bell will be on campus this weekend as well.
Malik Hausman
One of the brand ambassadors for Arizona in Malik Hausman will also take his official.

Drew Dixon
The local Sabino product will make the quick trip for his official visit. This offseason, Dixon received a very healthy bump in the recruiting rankings after a strong senior campaign.
Edgar Burrola
Burrola battled an injury towards the tail end of his senior season but he will join the rest of the gang in Tucson for an official visit. He will be with fellow Desert Pines teammate and early enrollee Tony Fields, who is living in Apache Santa-Cruz, which sounds terrible for a football player.
Jalen Harris UW official visit Jan 20.
Arizona is going to have fend off some big time programs to keep Arizona legacy commit Jalen Harris on board. Seems like Notre Dame might be in the picture for an official visit as well.

Austin Faoliu will “for sure” visit Michigan State
At this point I would be extremely shocked if Faoliu signs with Arizona. He has way too many top 25 offers and it would be a huge win to keep him in the class. Faoliu suddenly blew up this dead period and would likely be contributing as a true freshman.
Arizona DT commit Austin Faoliu (@Faoliu_10) will "definitely" be considering Michigan State and plans to visit. https://t.co/I3INq4oBfd
