College World Series: Arizona Wildcats arrive in Omaha

Some images from Arizona’s first day in Omaha

With two days to go before the start of the College World Series, the Arizona Wildcats made their way from Tucson to Omaha on Thursday.

The day started at Hi Corbett.

Then the team made its way to the private plane.

Where Sawyer Gieseke did Sawyer Gieseke things:

I’m not really sure how they did a 20 second video on a 9 second flight, but it happened

From there, the team made its way to TD Ameritrade Park, where most of the players got their first in-person look at the Mecca of college baseball

Then the team got a little practice in at a local high school

And of course, various Arizona coaches sent along their well wishes to the team ahead of Saturday’s opening game.

Gymnastics coach Tabitha Yim wins for best video in my opinion.

Arizona begins CWS play on Saturday evening at 5 PM PT on ESPN2.
