Arizona football recruiting: Three-star safety Scott Young commits to Wildcats

Yet another commitment for the 2017 class

It’s been an extremely busy week for Arizona Wildcats football commits, and it got even crazier as three-star safety Scott Young announced that he has committed to Arizona.

Young had been recruited by new assistant coach Donte Williams since Williams was at San Jose State.

Last year, the 5-foot-11 safety reeled in four interceptions in 12 games for Helix High School. He also played wide receiver, catching 30 balls for 392 yards and two touchdowns.

Young was at an Arizona camp in Southern California when he made this decision.

This is now Arizona's 16th commitment of the 2017 class. The size of the class has doubled in the last week and a half, which is just crazy nuts.

The rest of the class certainly liked this decision by Young as well.
